Education Programs

CREATE provides Substance Use Disorder education programs for individuals who are struggling with their substance use and the consequences that my follow such as legal, employment, family or social interaction. The education programs bring awareness to the relationship between substance usage and the related negative consequences. The outcomes of the programs are to understand and reduce your substance use risk factors and avoid harmful consequences.

CREATE offers the following educational programs:

C.T.U.D. Choice Time For the Using Driver

CREATE provides this class as a non-confrontive and judgemental educational program.

The program is an eight-hour class designed for first time DWI offenders or any other substance related crimes.

Classes are held in the evenings and Saturdays

Cost: $100.00 Required

Deposit at Registration: $50.00

Classes are self-pay and not reimbursable by insurance payers.

D.W.C. Driving With Care Level One and Level Two

CREATE, Inc. provides this evidence based class for DWI offenders. Driving With Care classes

emphasizes the ability and power of cognitive thinking patterns that cause repeated DWI

behavior.

Level One is 6 Weekly Classes-Evenings

Level Two is 12 Weekly Classes-Evenings

Cost: Level One $215.00 Level Two: $430.00

D.W.C. Driving With Care Level Two- Dakota County

CREATE provides this class only for Dakota County residents who are in the Dakota

County Probation Safe Streets Program. You must be assigned to a Dakota County Probation

Officer is the Safe Streets Program to register.

Level Two is a 12 weekly classes-Evenings

Location: Dakota County Service Centers

Cost: $25.00 for the Class Participant Manual

Bring money order to the first class or call ahead to change it to a credit or debit cards.

T4C Thinking For Change – Dakota County

CREATE provides this evidence based class only for Dakota County Residents who have

been referred to the class by their Dakota County Probation Officer. Participants will learn skills

to address criminal or maladaptive thinking patterns, while practicing coping and new behavior

management tools.
