Education Programs

CREATE provides Substance Use Disorder education programs for individuals, referred by their Dakota County Probation Officer, who are struggling with their substance use and the consequences that may follow. The education programs bring awareness to the relationship between substance usage and the related negative consequences. The outcomes of the programs are to understand and reduce your substance use risk factors and avoid harmful consequences.

CREATE offers the following educational programs:

D.W.C. Driving With Care

CREATE provides this class for Dakota County residents who are referred by their Dakota County Probation Officer. 

12 week class – Tuesdays or Thursdays, 6pm-8pm

Location: Telehealth – all classes are facilitated via ZOOM.

Cost: $45.00 for the DWC Manual

Call: 612-874-9811 to register and provide payment for DWC manual.

T4C Thinking For Change

CREATE provides this evidence-based class for Dakota County Residents who have been referred to the class by their Dakota County Probation Officer. Participants will learn skills to address criminal or maladaptive thinking patterns, while practicing coping and new behavior management tools.
